Getting to Padang Bai

Padang Bai is roughly 1.5 hours by car from the Kuta/Seminyak/Canggu area, and around 1 hour from Ubud. Most fast boat operators offer a hotel transfer as part of your ticket or as an add-on — check whether yours is a private transfer or a shared shuttle with multiple stops, since this affects how much buffer time you should build in.

Plan to arrive at the harbour at least 60 minutes before your boat's scheduled departure. This gives you time to:
